A chocolate afternoon tea and exclusive event with chocolatier Paul A. Young

To celebrate the Art of Scent and Choctober, indulge in an afternoon tea with a rather chocolatey twist this October. Teaming up with Harvey Nichols, innovative chocolatier Paul A. Young has devised a menu like no other, combining unusual but delicious flavour pairings to tantalise the taste buds.

In addition Paul will be hosting an exclusive event at Harvey Nichols Second Floor Restaurant Bristol on Sunday 11th October at 2pm, which includes a Champagne Chocolate Afternoon Tea, talk by Paul and goody bag to take home, for just £30.

The Chocolate Afternoon Tea by Paul A. Young will include a trio of sandwiches of roast beef and horseradish, cucumber, poppy seed and mascarpone and a daring but delicious savoury chocolate ganache and gorgonzola sandwich. Traditional mini fruit scones with jam and clotted cream sit alongside sumptuous mini brown sugar scones with salted caramel and clotted cream. To finish, enjoy a selection of sweetly scented treats, Moroccan spiced chocolate pots, a fragrant rose crunch cake, chocolate pecan tart and carrot and chocolate chip cake with coconut infused frosting.

All served with a selection of traditional teas in addition to Paul’s bespoke cocoa nib and mint infusion tea.

The Paul A. Young Chocolate Afternoon Tea is priced at £20 and Champagne Chocolate Afternoon Tea at £28.
