The weekend saw Hobbs Hairdressing bring their latest collection of inspirational style to Bristol, featuring a plethora of local creative entrepreneurs to The Passenger Shed on Saturday 6 February.
From Katcha Bilek’s eye-catching designs made from recycled tyres to Linda Thomas‘ up cycled glamourous, yet practical fashion wear, with makeup design by Grace Kingsley, ‘Born and Raised in Bristol’ was well attended, with over 450 people coming along, despite the storms brewing in the skies above.
This was the very last Hobbs Show, one of the largest independent fashion events outside of London. 60 models took to the catwalk wearing a variety of upcycled clothes, designer bags, antique Japanese kimonos, vintage wedding dresses and swimwear.
The evening was a celebration of local fashion designers, retailers, musicians and artists, with all profit going to the Meningitis Research Foundation.
