Couch to 5k

This Mum Runs presents an 8 week structured fitness programme to get you 5k fit and raring to go!  This course is perfect for beginners who need a bit of motivation to get running.  By the end of the course, you will be able to run for half an hour, non stop.  Result!

This is a womens-only running programme.  The culmination of the programme will result in you taking part in the Race for Life event on Clifton Downs on 3 July.

Sign up for this 10k run in Bristol and support your Bristol based charity of choice.  This route is a great choice for those runners looking for their next step after  a 5k, as the course is largely flat.  Taking in some beautiful, historic landmarks across Bristol including the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Avon Gorge and finishing up at the harbour side, this one will get you running at your best, with views to inspire you to keep going!

There will also be a Great Bristol Family Mile for children aged 3 years and up, and their families.

Entry to the main 10k run is £28 and includes a t-shirt on completion of the course.

This is an undulating course on all terrain, through the beautiful grounds of this National Trust property.  Taking in the views of the impressive valleys, this double looper (5k repeated!) will get your heart racing.

This evening 5k run is ideal for the seasoned roadrunner.  On a flat course, you’ll lap yourself three times.  A sociable yet competitive run, often followed by a much needed drink at the local watering hole.  Winners will be awarded with a prize of £50 for the male and female course record.

Registration on the evening of the race.  £7 for unaffiliated runners/£5 for affiliated.  Meet at the Atrium within the Aztec Centre, Aztec West Business Centre.
