At-Bristol launched its latest exciting addition to its series of special evening events for adults last night (21 June), with a screening of ‘Dark Side of the Moon: The Fulldome Experience’ in the state-of-the-art planetarium.

An aural and visual extravaganza, inspired by the music of Pink Floyd, the fantastic show features the entire 1973 album Dark Side of the Moon in glorious 5.1 surround sound, with abstract, psychedelic patterns and images projected on to the full dome, enveloping the entire audience. “It’s an incredible production, and the mesmerising visuals using our 4k projectors are a perfect match for the music,” said Lee Pullen, At-Bristol’s planetarium manager. “We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of music-lovers!”

Visitors will be able to explore At-Bristol’s Space Gallery, and grab a drink at the bar before sitting back to relax and enjoy the 45-minute show. Tickets cost £15 per person (age 16+ only), and the shows will run on 28 June; and 5, 12 and 19 July at 7pm and 8.15pm.
