To celebrate the first birthday of its arrival to the streets of Bristol, Wahaca has organised some exciting goings on including free tacos, music and all things Mexican!
This Saturday 6th August, the Wahaca taco truck will be taking to the streets and serving up free tacos from 12-3pm on the Clifton Triangle – the corner of Queens Avenue and Queens Road. Guests can grab a taco and head along to the restaurant where there will be live music playing along with cocktail shaking, guacamole making and traditional Mexican fun.
On Sunday 7th, diners can book a table for lunch in the restaurant where they will be treated to free tastings of the summer specials (including the Gringa Taco – grilled pork pastor marinated in achiote and pineapple, served a cheesy tortilla, and the Beetroot & Goat’s Cheese Tostada – hibiscus glazed beetroot with whipped goat’s cheese and baby spinach served on a crispy blue corn tortilla) as well as some Mexican cocktails on the house alongside their meal.
Tables can be booked online at: http://www.wahaca.co.uk/locations/bristol/bristol-turns-1/
