This Christmas Tobacco Factory Theatres has launched an appeal to raise £10,000 to support its work in the community

Over £3,000 has been raised already since the appeal was officially opened at the end of November, with most donations so far coming from the generosity of audiences who have visited the theatre to see hit Christmas production, Cinderella: A Fairytale.

On Tue 20 & Wed 21 December, Tobacco Factory Theatres aims to boost the appeal still further with a 48 hour push via social media. Supporters should join in the conversation by using #tftheatrescommunity and share the short campaign video which features contributions from many people who have benefited from the work of the theatre.

Proceeds from the Tobacco Factory Theatres’ ‘In The Community’ appeal will help support the theatre’s inspiring work with youngsters from all over Bristol, many from disadvantaged areas, provide free and subsidised tickets to schools and charities, help reach new audiences through the BEYOND seasons and subsidise the costs of available spaces for use by community groups and charities.

You can show your support for the appeal by re-tweeting or liking the film on social media or donating online at tobaccofactorytheatres.com/in-the-community-appeal
