Back by popular demand, the Jazz Dames will celebrate the life, music, composition and spirit of Ms Peggy Lee… Norma Deloris Engstrom, known professionally as Peggy Lee, was an American jazz singer, songwriter, composer, and actress, in a career spanning six decades. The Gloucester Theatre Company has created a new piece of theatre to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. The piece features a production of a new play called A Dangerous Woman (shortlisted for the Adrian Pagan New Writing Award) and a devised presentation, inspired by the words of poets, pacifists and other protesters.
