Day fees: £22,245 per annum (chargeable in termly instalments of £7,415). Means tested financial assistance can be applied for from Year 7. Scholarships are available for Year 7, Year 9, and Year 12 entry.
The curriculum: QEH offers a thorough and wide-ranging curriculum, providing pupils the opportunity to discover their passions and develop their interests across a broad range of subjects, from languages, sciences and humanities to the arts. Our co-educational Sixth Form offers 29 A level subjects, giving students a broad range of options to pursue their interests and ambitions. Students have the opportunity to begin their Sixth Form studies with four A levels.
Co-curricular activities: QEH takes immense pride in our diverse range of activities and trips, which not only cater to a wide array of pupils’ interests. Emphasising variety, with over 35 clubs to choose from, the aim is to ensure that every pupil discovers activities that captivate their interest. Additionally, QEH has a strong tradition of outdoor adventure, with pupils taking part in the QE Award, our own outdoor challenge programme for pupils in Years 7 and 8, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and Ten Tors Challenge. Over the past academic year, more than 350 pupils spent at least one night under canvas through these programmes and a wide range of other outdoor experiences.
Pastoral care: At QEH, pastoral care is the foundation of everything we do, creating a close-knit community where both pupils and their families feel instantly at home. We were thrilled when the ISI awarded us a ‘Significant Strength’ for our provision for pupils’ physical, mental, and emotional health, a recognition that reflects our everyday commitment to keeping our pupils happy, secure, and confident. Visitors frequently remark on the genuine warmth, courtesy, and self-assurance of QEH pupils.

In our recent ISI inspection, QEH met all regulatory standards and was awarded a ‘Significant Strength’ for our provision for pupils’ physical and mental health and emotional well-being.
