New Bristol Sinfonia | Classical favourites

New Bristol Sinfonia will be playing some top Classical favourites 
including Dvorak Symphony No 8 at Clifton Cathedral on Saturday 10 
October, 7.30pm. The orchestra, which is one of the most prestigious 
in Bristol, will also perform Brahms’ Tragic Overture and Four Last 
songs by Richard Strauss, sung by Elizabeth Watts. The soprano’s voice 
was described by International Record Review as “one of the most 
beautiful Britain has produce in a generation”. The concert will be 
conducted by Andrea Quinn who was music director at the Royal Ballet 
in Covent Garden and the New York City Ballet at The Lincoln Center.
