The Portishead Summer Show team are looking forward to welcoming you to this year’s Show which is a combination of a country fair and a traditional flower and produce show is a real community event with something for everyone.
Portishead Summer Show is one of the oldest Shows in the country having first been held in 1863.
The Show provides an opportunity for the Portishead community to get together to enjoy arena attractions, showcase local talent and to enjoy some retail therapy and scrummy refreshments. This year’s attractions include Gundogs, Falconry, The Quack Pack, dancing from local dance troupes as well as music and Children’s Entertainers – for further details see the Arena page.

It’s the feeling. That unmistakable sense that, for a weekend, life slows down just enough for us to remember what really matters: community. Children dart between stalls with painted faces, friends reconnect by the arena. Someone, somewhere, is fiercely defending their Victoria sponge… It’s community in its purest form ”
