Planning is already well underway for Slapstick Festival 2027, which returns to Bristol from 10–14 February with another magnificent five-day celebration of screen comedy across five venues.
It’s a little too early to reveal the programme, but it’ll be worth the wait. The team will begin lifting the curtain in September, when they’ll announce the first events and give you a taste of what’s in store.
Before then, though, there’s plenty to look forward to. The autumn fundraiser Stand-up for Slapstick and the spectacular Silent Comedy Gala are both important milestones on the road to February’s programme and the team are hopeful there may be a few more surprises along the way.
Slapstick 2027 brings more than 30 events across five joy-filled days in Bristol, celebrating screen comedy in all its forms: from silent-era masterpieces to classic sitcoms, anarchic stand-ups and big-screen favourites.
