Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light Costume Exhibition

Berkeley Castle is currently hosting an exclusive Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light Costume Exhibition, showcasing six stunning costumes worn by acclaimed actors in the celebrated TV series. Step into the world of Tudor England and admire the exquisite craftsmanship of these historically inspired garments, which bring to life the drama and intrigue of Hilary Mantel’s masterpiece. Berkeley Castle itself was a filming location for Wolf Hall, making this exhibition even more special as visitors stand in the very spaces where key scenes were shot.

Also featured in the exhibition is a mural painted specifically for the BBC production, inspired by a similar one created for Henry VIII at the Palace of Whitehall, offering a fascinating glimpse into the artistry behind the series.

The Castle is open every Sunday to Wednesday, 11am-5pm. The exhibition is included in the standard admission ticket. Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light is available to stream on BBC iPlayer now.
